Library Value in the Developing-World
Demonstrating value for institutional stakeholders has become an increasingly important activity in academic libraries around the world. The concept of library value can be defined in several ways: value for users in the level of support and services provided; value for the parent institution in contribution to institutional missions and goals; or economic value for return on investment. This study investigates the values and perceptions of value, of academic libraries for teaching and research faculty in developing countries.
