Speakers

Dr. Rosie Nelson (they/them) is a Lecturer in Gender at the School of Sociology, Politics, and International Studies, University of Bristol. Rosie has a wide range of research interests including minoritized sexualities and genders (particularly bi identities), queer theory, and qualitative research methods.

Surya Monro is a Professor in Sociology and Social Policy based at the University of Huddersfield, UK. Surya publishes in the fields of gender and sexuality, and she leads the Intersex: New Interdisciplinary Approaches (INIA) project in collaboration with intersex activists and academics.  Her publications include Gender Politics: Citizenship, Activism, and Sexual Diversity (Pluto Press 2005) and Bisexuality (Palgrave MacMillan, 2015).

M. Paz Galupo PhD (She/They) is Distinguished Professor of Sexual Health & Education and Director of QT-CREW at Washington University in St. Louis. Their research focuses on the intersection of sexual orientation and gender identity, particularly non-binary expressions of bisexual/plurisexual and transgender experience. Paz is an Editor for the Journal of Bisexuality, and Associate Editor for International Journal of Transgender Health. They were appointed Editor of Psychology of Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity in 2019.
