Sustaining STEM Students Across Academic Pathways

Academic pipeline programs have created safe spaces for women, minorities and persons with disabilities to receive training in STEM disciplines for several decades.

In this session, Drs. Curtis D. Byrd and Rihana S Mason will discuss several programs several programs featured in their upcoming book, Academic Pipeline Programs: Diversifying the Bachelors to the Professoriate, and their best practices for supporting graduate study and beyond.

This 30-minute presentation includes key ideas developed in the book, including an assessment tool, the THRIVE Inventory, to review diversity pathway initiatives.
