SAGE Releases Collection of Free Resources from Their 2020 TAA Award-Winning Titles
SAGE Publishing has opened resources from six titles that received 2020 Textbook Awards from the Textbook & Academic Authors Association (TAA). Materials from the winning texts (see the full list of titles below) support online teaching and learning and include videos, webinars, author interviews, and more.
A new landing page with the featured resources joins SAGE's other various initiatives to provide free content for the teaching, learning, and research community during the COVID-19 pandemic, including free-to-access courseware, research, and digital textbooks.
"The wide-spread shift to online courses accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic has heightened the critical need for high quality digital course materials and customer support," says Michele Sordi, Senior Vice President and Head of US College at SAGE. "We are grateful for TAA's recognition of SAGE's long-standing commitment to high-quality content enhanced by easy-to-use technology, affordability, and accessibility, and a publishing culture that embraces authors and innovative, outcomes-based pedagogy."
SAGE received four awards in 2018 and seven in 2019 and has received more awards than any other publisher three years in a row. TAA will be hosting a virtual award ceremony on Friday, June 12th to recognize this year's winners. To learn more about the TAA Awards, visit their website.
The publisher is dedicated to assisting the higher academic community through this difficult time. Those with suggestions for additional ways to support can email them to info@sagepub.com.

The Textbook & Academic Authors Association (TAA) provides professional development resources, events, and networking opportunities for textbook authors and authors of scholarly journal articles and books. Established in 1987 by math author Mike Keedy, TAA is the only national, nonprofit membership association dedicated solely to assisting textbook and academic authors. TAA's name was changed from "Text and Academic Authors Association" to "Textbook & Academic Authors Association" in 2016 to offer a clearer identity for TAA in light of the new meaning of "texting" on smart devices today.
TAA offers a wide array of resources and benefits to help you navigate your path to writing success. These benefits include publication grants, webinars, a templates and samples resources library, a quarterly print newsletter, and a variety of networking opportunities available through CONNECT, TAA's online member community.
