Sage Skills: Student Success Awarded Best Database of 2023

Sage is delighted to have been awarded Best Database by Library Journal for Sage Skills: Student Success. The interactive resource helps students develop academic and personal skills that they can tailor to their own personal needs, regardless of their background or field of study. Library Journal evaluates thousands of resources annually, but only a select few receive this honor.

“An interactive digital resource designed to help students practice essential skills to ensure academic success. The platform comprises 10 comprehensive modules covering critical interdisciplinary skills such as academic writing, data literacy, information literacy, study strategies, and even personal development and well-being. Each module employs different learning modalities (including self-guided assessments, videos, and interactive scenarios) to take advantage of varied learning styles and approaches.” 

The educational framework for Sage Skills: Student Success was determined by a global team of academic editors and contributors who selected skills and topics they viewed as most relevant to support a student’s path to graduation. Students can identify skillsets in need of development and explore skill-learning topics that are most relevant to their needs.
