Celebrating UK Black History Month
October celebrates Black History Month in the UK, a chance for us to reflect on the history of the Black British community and to celebrate its culture, contributions, and achievements, past and present.
Black History Month is an important time for reflection, solidarity, and education. It allows us to examine where systemic racism persists today and what changes we can implement now.
At SAGE, we believe that social science research is instrumental in creating policies, practices, and procedures that improve lives. For this month, we have curated a collection of free-to-access research from across the social and behavioral sciences, including education, media, sociology, and anti-racist resources, to help educate, raise awareness, and support change.
