The Moynihan Prize
Recognizes social scientists, public officials, and other leaders in the public arena who champion the use of informed judgment to improve public policy. The Prize is intended to honor those who have promoted the use of sound analysis and social science research in policy making while contributing to the civil discourse in society.
Deadline for 2023 Award: Wednesday, October 26th, 2022.

The SAGE-CASBS Award
The Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (CASBS) at Stanford University and SAGE Publishing Award recognizes outstanding achievement in the behavioral and social sciences that advances our understanding of pressing social issues. The award underscores the role of the social and behavioral sciences in enriching and enhancing public discourse and good governance.
Deadline for 2023 Award: Friday, December 9th, 2022.

Golden Goose Award
Highlights and honors examples of scientific studies or research that may have seemed obscure, sounded “funny,” or for which the results were totally unforeseen at the outset, but which ultimately led, often serendipitously, to major breakthroughs that have had significant societal impact. The social sciences aren’t frequently represented so we encourage you to nominate social and behavioral scientists for the award.
