Sage publishes first-in-field Encyclopedia of Trans Studies
The Sage Encyclopedia of Trans Studies was published in June 2021 with the aim to define the scope of transgender studies and how it has grown as a field of study over the past several decades.
Since then, it has been recognized by Publishers Weekly as the first encyclopedia of its kind, by Library Journal as one of best reference books for the social sciences, and was recently awarded the 2022 Distinguished Book Award from APA’s 44th Division.

Two SAGE employees, Bali Birch-Lee and Sam Perkins, discuss why sharing your pronouns can aid in destigmatization and normalization of living beyond the gender binary, minimize misgendering, and help to end gendered assumptions. They share specific guidance for Sage employees, a short guide to pronouncing more commonly used ones, and further resources on the topic.

Methodspace has released a list for Pride Month to provide researchers with readings that might fit their methods curriculum, or help new researchers craft their own studies. The Reading List contains a number of research cases, which are ideal for use in an instructional setting. These unique cases also offer candid first-hand discussions of the whole experience - including ways the researchers dealt with problems and obstacles.
